Buy NAD+ in Australia from Macropus Peptides in three fills: 100mg, 500mg and 1000mg. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is the coenzyme every cell uses to carry electrons and to feed sirtuin, PARP and CD38 enzymes, which makes it a core reagent in energy metabolism and ageing research. The 500mg vial is priced and ready to order, and the 100mg and 1000mg vials are quoted on request. Each vial contains the oxidised form as a dry powder, sealed and labelled with name, fill weight, lot number and storage temperature, with a certificate of analysis for every lot. Larger fills bring the cost per milligram down, and 5 mL of bacteriostatic water turns the 500mg vial into a 100 mg per mL stock. Order NAD+ online alongside SS-31 or MOTS-C for mitochondrial work, and your parcel is sent from Australian stock nationwide. NAD+ is supplied to adults for laboratory research only, never for human or veterinary use.

Buy NAD+ Australia: 100mg, 500mg and 1000mg Vials

Macropus Peptides supplies nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide in its oxidised form in three fills: 100mg, 500mg and 1000mg. The 500mg vial has a list price and goes straight into the cart, while the 100mg and 1000mg fills are quoted on request. Strictly speaking it is a coenzyme rather than a peptide, but we keep it in our longevity range because laboratories studying mitochondrial peptides so often need it on the same bench. All three fills come from one supply, released lot by lot.

What is NAD+

NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every living cell. Chemically it consists of two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups: one carries the base adenine, the other carries nicotinamide, a form of vitamin B3. It exists as an oxidised form, the one we supply, and a reduced form called NADH, while a phosphorylated pair, NADP and NADPH, completes the family. It was first recognised early in the twentieth century as a heat-stable factor that yeast extracts need for fermentation, and it has since become one of the most studied small molecules in cell metabolism and the biology of ageing.

How NAD+ works in research

The molecule has two separate jobs. First, it is an electron carrier: during the breakdown of glucose and fats it picks up electrons to become NADH, which hands them on to the mitochondrial respiratory chain to drive energy production. Second, it is used up as a substrate by three families of enzymes. Sirtuins use it to strip acetyl groups from proteins, tying gene regulation to the energy state of the cell; PARP enzymes consume it when signalling DNA damage; and CD38, an enzyme on immune and other cells, breaks it down. Because these consumers compete for a limited pool, the cellular level of the coenzyme is itself a regulated variable, and much ageing research asks what happens as that level falls. In the laboratory it serves as an enzyme assay reagent, a culture media supplement and a reference standard.

NAD+ research: what the studies show

Much of the literature is review-led, which reflects how central the coenzyme is to biochemistry. A 2015 review in Science drew together evidence linking falling NAD+ levels with ageing, metabolism and neurodegeneration. In 2016, Cell Metabolism published mouse and cell work identifying CD38 as a major driver of the age-related decline in tissue levels and examining the knock-on effects on SIRT3 and mitochondrial function. A 2018 review in the same journal surveyed in vivo studies of precursors and other compounds that raise the pool across disease models, and a 2021 review in Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology mapped how it is made, consumed and recycled in ageing cells. Designs and readouts for every paper sit in our NAD+ research studies library.

Each vial holds the oxidised coenzyme as a dry, white to off-white powder under a crimped seal. Its label records the coenzyme name, weight of powder, lot and freezer setting, and the lot reference brings back the batch certificate of analysis on request. The solid is hygroscopic: store it in a -20 °C freezer and allow the closed vial to warm on the bench before the crimp is broken. Once dissolved, refrigerate it and dilute into neutral or slightly acidic buffers, because the oxidised form breaks down faster in alkaline solution while NADH is the one that dislikes acid.

Our 500mg vial is listed in Australian dollars and can be bought immediately. The 100mg and 1000mg fills are quoted on request: ask and we confirm a figure before anything is charged. Reagents sold by weight get cheaper per milligram as the fill grows, which is why the 1000mg vial will be the most economical coenzyme option once priced.

NAD+ 500mg: where to buy in Australia

The 500mg fill is our standard size and the only one with a list price today. It supports several weeks of assay or culture work on a single lot. Five millilitres over the 500mg of powder makes a 100 mg per mL coenzyme stock, convenient for serial dilution into assay buffer or media, while 10 mL makes 50 mg per mL.

NAD+ 100mg: a small fill for enzyme assays

The 100mg vial suits experiments where the coenzyme is a reagent rather than the variable under study, such as sirtuin, PARP or dehydrogenase activity assays. Dissolved in 2 mL it makes 50 mg per mL, and in 1 mL it makes 100 mg per mL. This fill is quoted on request.

NAD+ 1000mg: the bulk vial for large programmes

The 1000mg vial is intended for laboratories running many culture plates or parallel cell lines from one batch. Ten millilitres of diluent take it to 100 mg per mL, identical to the 500mg vial at 5 mL, so pipetting plans transfer directly. Ask us for a quote on this fill.

  • Declare adult status and research use when you pay
  • File the lot number with your reagent records and request the certificate

NAD+ calculator: how much bac water for 500mg and 1000mg

Divide the fill by the volume added to find the stock concentration. Over 5 mL, the 500mg fill works out at 100 mg per mL; over 10 mL, at 50 mg per mL. The 1000mg fill over 10 mL works out at 100 mg per mL, and the 100mg fill over 2 mL at 50 mg per mL. One bacteriostatic water 10mL vial covers any of these, the 30mL bacteriostatic water suits larger orders, and further diluents are grouped under lab supplies.

Is NAD+ available in Australia

Yes. Australian laboratories may order NAD+ here as a reagent. The vials we sell hold no ARTG registration as a medicine, and none of them is meant for people or animals. Coenzyme scheduling is a TGA decision recorded in the Poisons Standard, and your institution should look up the present wording before buying.

NAD+ for sale Australia wide

From Australian stock we send coenzyme orders to laboratories in Canberra, Geelong, Cairns, Bunbury and everywhere between. The coenzyme is often ordered with SS-31, which acts on the inner mitochondrial membrane, and MOTS-C, a peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA. A matched NAD+ starter kit and the three-compound longevity stack are also listed, with more in our longevity and cognitive range.
